The maximum temperature of the Hei-PLATE Mix 'n' Heat Expert/Ultimate can be limited in order to be able to react flexibly to sensitive media, temperature-sensitive materials or safety-related parameters. The safety temperature monitoring function Delta T monitors the set and actual temperature during the reaction. If, for example, the set value for Delta T is exceeded during an exothermic reaction, the heating function of the magnetic stirrer is switched off and the rotation speed is reduced to a minimum. Especially for unattended operation or in night laboratories, a low value for the safety temperature Delta T can ensure increased safety.
