Project Closed! Hei-VAP Naming Concept For Further Product Categories

The naming of the current Heidolph rotary evaporator series has stood the test of time. lt does not only help to easily identify to which product category a device belongs - "evaporation" > "Hei-VAP" -, but it also facilitates the entry into Heidolph's world of premium laboratory equipment by clearly categorizing the units: From the entry-level device with basic functionalities (Core) via a version with extended functions (Expert) to the high-end device with sophisticated features for superior requirements (Ultimate).

After the launch year 2019  of the new Hei-VAP series we successively adapted the name of further product categories according to this concept:

• „vacuum“ > Hei-VAC for the vacuum pump series under the rotary evaporators
• „volume“ > Hei-VOLUME Distimatic as Heidolph exklusive automatic module for unlimited distillation quantities
• „hotplate“ > Hei-PLATE for hotplates or magnetic stirrers with and without heating function
• „torque“ related to the unit or moment of force > Hei-TORQUE for Heidolph powerful lab stirrers
• „shake“ > Hei-SHAKE for our new laboatory shaker series for proper mixing
• „flow“ > Hei-FLOW for our peristaltic pumps for precise dispensing and dosing of liquids.

Below you will find the before and after picture or the cross-reference list of each individual device in our portfolio. Our motivation is to provide you an excellent service, and we believe that this sustainable and harmonized renaming is a step in the right direction.

The name of the product line Rotavac vacuum pumps for Heidolph rotary evaporators switches to Hei-VAC.

The Hei-PLATE Mix ’n’ Heat is a magnetic stirrer with a heating function, while the Hei-PLATE Mix offers only a stirring function.
