The Hei-SHAKE series offers platform shakers for different applications in the laboratory. Vortexers are indispensable devices in the laboratory providing fast results through their very intuitive handling and their performance and thus convincing overall. They are used for different applications e.g. the dissolution of solids or of cell pellets in a medium or the mixing of samples in test tubes. Heidolph Instruments GmbH & Co. KG offers three different Vortexer models being able to process a wider range of samples more efficiently by means of additional accessories.

Overhead shakers are compact devices that are suitable especially for challenging applications. Large models such as our Reax 20 are equipped with a separate emergency switch ensuring safety even during heavy loads of up to 30 kg. This allows the user to mix color and varnish samples safely, to prepare soil samples or to dissolve poorly soluble salts. The smaller Reax 2 is often used in molecular biology or biochemistry to extract different products from cells or tissues.

Platform Shakers

Regardless of whether homogenization, suspension or dispersion – a shaker is used during the course of an experiment in virtually every laboratory. A wide range of different shakers exists, which are also used with different accessories to become strong supporters of daily laboratory tasks.
