In Vitro Transcription (IVT) in Jacketed Glass Reactors

The development of high-quality biological therapeutics requires efficient and reliable in vitro transcription (IVT). Conventionally, in vitro transcription is performed in batch reactions in single-use setups, which have been shown to exhibit batch-to-batch variation due to fluctuating reaction conditions. Glass reactors are a promising method to address this batch variation issue, and with a cleaning protocol in place, the reactors can be used repeatedly. This white paper will discuss how the use of glass jacketed reactors improves in vitro transcription's efficiency and reliability, particularly for mRNA synthesis.
